Knowledge comes from inspiration — one bit at a time.
My name is Vivien, I live in Vancouver BC, Canada. When I was still at school, I saw a TV program about Computer Graphics that captivated my mind. That’s when I made my decision to study Computer Science. I’m still fascinated with what can be achieved with computers, so never stopped learning the new technologies. I work full time as a Web Developer and freelance as a Web&Graphic Designer. I used to teach Web Programming at various colleges and universities full time for over 8 years, but now I’ve cut down on my teaching and enjoy working from home. This allows me to spend more time with my husband and baby daughter.

This blog provides readers with topics on Web design and development, Art and Photography, other bloggers, tutorials on various topics, site reviews, internet prodigies and much more.

I often find myself scouring the internet looking for either answers to many questions I have or websites that inspire me, sites that I can learn from. On what topics you might ask – any topics that interest me, anything from web design to art and photography, from blogging to entrepreneurship, from programming to open source.

It’s a challenge to keep my bookmarks organized in an efficient way. So I’ve decided to start my own blog, and post here everything I find interesting, learn or get an inspiration from. Hopefully this blog will find its readers and others would benefit from all those inspirational bits I get from this magic medium called Internet. And if you find something you’d like to be included here and shared with others, please feel free to post your comments.
